Hi, I’m Darwin!

Path No Path Project was created as a way to explore happiness through creative projects. Photography is one of the creative pursuits that brings me the greatest joy.

For me, photography is about more than making images. It is a way to capture a feeling, a moment of connection, and the relationship between the world around me and my own experiences. Each photograph creates an opportunity for reflection, expression, and a deeper appreciation of everyday life. It also allows me to connect with others by sharing the moments and places that have shaped my journey.

Thank you for taking the time to view my photography. It is a privilege to share these images with you, and I hope they offer a meaningful glimpse into my experiences while inspiring you to find your own moments of connection, beauty, and joy.

Photography Books

I have partnered with Blurb.ca to publish several collections of my work, including Path No Path, Paths, Sunrise and Sunset at Clover Point and Beyond, and Bicycle Portraits. This collection reflects years of living, exploring, traveling, and embracing the places I have called home. Together, these images tell the story of my journey through photography and the experiences that continue to inspire me.

About

Darwin H Tang founded Path No Path Project to find happiness by engaging and connecting people through creative projects.  

Darwin fled Vietnam with his family in the 1970s. Their escape aboard a fishing boat left an enduring mark on his world view, while his time living in a refugee camp and later immigrating to Canada have shaped the way he perceives his surroundings and informs his photography.  

He currently resides in British Columbia where he continues to capture photographs of his surroundings and document his ongoing journey of exploration in photography.
